My name is Rafa, I’m a student-athlete at Valparaiso University, I play golf for Valpo, coming to the United States has been a completely new adventure for me, I’m from Mexico City, Mexico, and I have 2 brothers which I love and admire very much, we are very close because we have been playing sports all our life and that made us very good friends not just brothers, I’m also very thankful that I have both of my parents healthy and in awesome shape, my dad is the CEO of Carrier Mexico, the air conditioning company, and my mom is a high school principal, she loves to help people, and to really make an impact on someone’s life, I have a girlfriend, her name is Alaia, and we have been together for almost 2 years, she also loves to play golf, and we do so many things together, actually I was very lucky that she could come and visit me here in Valpo, we also went to Chicago for a couple of days. It was awesome.
